I have received so many positive comments about our workshop offerings.  Here is what people are saying...

(October 2009) About The Art School in Sandy Springs
I love the smaller classes at your school, to be able to get more teacher attention. I have been to the larger classes elsewhere, and am lucky to see the instructor only once in the class time.  dh

(September 2009)
Finding The Art School in Sandy Springs gave me an opportunity to fine tune my artistic skills, meet other artists and take classes that improved my skills as well as my confidence.  Taking from artists like Donna Thomas, Carrie Schweers, Melody Trivisone, James Richards and Millie Gosch was so inspiring it literally made it hard for me to leave my home studio.  I have produced more art this year than in the last 5 years!  Now that I am selling my art, I feel, and rightly so, that I have joined the right to say I am a professional artist.  I am so pleased to have found this wonderful artist community which inspires me to be my best.  KC

About James Richard's
workshop (February 2009)
Jim has opened a new world for me.  He is masterful in his painting ability and is an incredible instructor.  He spends so
much time with each student and guides them through the entire process of large landscape painting.  He is wonderful!  (DT)

About Gary Bodner's workshop (April 2009)
A big thank you to Gary, Melanie, and Donna! I came home from the workshop and took an old painting and punched it out with color. It looked sooo much better! Gary, it must be your profession (OB-GYN) that encouraged us to PUSH ( and we certainly know about stretching ourselves) , but it worked. You make laboring over a blank canvas and birthing a painting fun!! Till we paint again…….(CA)

About
Nancy Franke's workshop (April 2009, August 2009)
Thanks for everything........you are truly an inspiration!!!!!  I love to paint with those who have so much passion for painting.   You did a great job and I love the blindfold and paper towel idea.......I thinl I'll start our one of my painting days each week like that.....so fun....makes it really feel like your own heart is in the painting.  (LT)

Thanks for a great learning experience and your zest for art that inspired us all.  (TE)

NANCY FRANKE'S WAS THE BEST WORKSHOP EVER!........no one wanted it to end.  Wish you had been  here.  Everyone had such a great time and Nancy was so interesting and so patient and so funny while painting demonstrations and giving valuable art information and critiques. SHE IS SUCH A NATURAL!  (SJ)

It was a  lot of fun and she puts so much heart into whatever she does.  She is a great addition to your workhop list! (LT)

I just wanted to tell you that the Nancy Franke Workshop this last weekend was great.  She has so much energy and I learned many new techniques and ideas.  She is a great inspiration! (CB)

JAMES RICHARD's June Landscape Workshop:
Hi Donna,
Thank you again for recommending this workshop. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I attended. I went home tonight and painted until there was no more light... and resolved some things I have been "stuck" on for a while.

Jim's demonstrations along with his descriptions were so much more than I even imagined. I hope that you will put me on the list for a seat next time he teaches a workshop JRR

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for being not only an incredible artist, but such a willing teacher. Rarely do you find a teacher willing to spend the enormous amount of energy it takes to give each student so much time and breadth of knowledge.  Your love for art shines like the sun. Your ability to share that love is inspiring. I hope to learn much more from you!
